This series of seven ceramic molds begins with a mold from a rock. Each new mold is cast from the fired piece of the previous mold, revealing how the ceramic shrinks through firing. It echoes the memory of my grandma’s body gradually diminishing as I grew up. Just as a rock slowly disappears from the world, I witnessed her shrink in both body and presence in my life.
